GLAAD GIVES KUDOS TO FILM AND TELEVISION

The Gay Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) handed out their nominations for film and television for their 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards. GLAAD honors shows and films that stand out in depicting the gay community in a positive way. Among the nominees are for Wide Release Drama are Precious, Everybody's Fine, I Love You, Man, A Single Man and Taking Woodstock. Drama series nominees are True Blood, Mad Men, Brothers and Sisters, Grey's Anatomy and the BBC America series Skins. In the comedy category GLAAD singled out Glee, Beautiful People, Greek, Modern Family and United States of Tara. The awards will be held in NYC on March 13, 2010, in L.A. on April 17th and in San Francisco on June 5th.[source]
