ROBERT DOWNEY, JR. & BEYONCE TO STAR IN THE NEXT "A STAR IS BORN"?

Oh, Beyonce. Hasn't anyone close to you told you yet? YOU CAN'T ACT!!! A Star is Born, a classic Hollywood story about a girl out of nowhere becoming a star with the help of a man who is on the decline is being remade for the fourth time. First was in 1937 with Janet Gaynor and Frederic March. The second time, and perhaps most famously, in 1954 with Judy Garland and James Mason. Equally as famous but not quite as critically successful was the 1976 version starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. The Babs version is about a singer and contained some monster hits on the soundtrack, so I'm guessing that is the version that will be closest to Beyonce's attempt at ruining everything. The good news is that Robert Downey, Jr. is attached and Nick Cassavettes is set to direct, according to Deadline Hollywood Daily. Beyonce has made several movies to varying success, so who knows. Maybe this will be the one where she doesn't play a wooden figure. What? She wasn't SUPPOSED to be a statue in the other ones. Oh. Never mind. Just sing, Beyonce. Really. Just sing. [source]
