PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS: PEOPLE LOVE VAMPIRES

THIS JUST IN: PEOPLE ARE OBSESSED WITH VAMPIRES!!! The honors were handed out at the 36th Annual People's Choice Awards (aka The Who Cares Awards) and blood suckers was the theme. Twilight, the worst vampire franchise of all time, won four awards including favorite movie, franchise and onscreen team for it's three lead "actors". Taylor Lautner was awarded Breakout Male Star. Two shows that are actually GOOD won in the tv categories. True Blood won as Favorite TV Obsession and The Vampire Diaries picked up Favorite New TV Drama. WHAT THE "F" ARE THESE CATEGORIES??? No wonder nobody cares who the "people" pick. Ha. Queen Latifah hosted (another reason not to watch) for the fourth consecutive year. Really? Work much, Latifah? Besides True Blood and Vampire Diaries, the "people" got some more right as well. Glee picked up Favorite TV Comedy, Steve Carell as Favorite TV Comedy Actor. Sandra Bullock and Hugh Jackman received trophies for Favorite Female/Male actor. You guess which won which. All in all, it was a night to..... well..... who cares. [source]
