It's only been a day or so since Simon Cowell announced that this season will be his last on American Idol, and the speculation has already started. TMZ is reporting that a source is saying that Elton John is being considered for the position. I think that's great. If you remember, Elton John was a guest judge on Idol on season three, the week Jennifer Hudson got kicked off. He was NOT happy about it and was very vocal about his disapproval of that vote. Elton is not know as a wilting flower. He is famous for his tantrums and fits off stage. These are just rumors and neither American Idol nor Elton have confirmed they are even in talks. What do you think? Would Elton be a good replacement? That would make HALF the panel gay!! [source]
