Hey, that rhymes! Green Day has long been a top-notch punk band and huge selling musical act, now they are taking their show to Broadway. Well, to be exact, a musical based on their album American Idiot and directed by Michael Mayer is opening at the St. James theatre on Broadway on April 20th with previews starting in March. The show ran to sold out crowds and positive reviews last fall at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre in California. I wouldn't expect tap shoes or a kick line, but I'm sure you'll rock it out.
