Apparent British newcomer Taio Cruz sets the record for the largest leap to #1 for a debut song by a new artist on the Billboard Hot 100 today, moving his song Break Your Heart (ft. Ludacris) from 53 to 1. The song hit the top spot in the UK back in September and is just now hitting our shores. The record WAS held by Kelly Clarkson's A Moment Like This, which jumped from 52-1 back on October 5, 2002. Kelly still holds the record for largest jump by any artist with My Life Would Suck Without You, which leapt from #97-1 on February 7, 2009. Here is the video for Break Your Heart.
