"THE HOBBIT" TO BEGIN FILMING IN JUNE

YEA!!! This is such great news!! The Hobbit, the two part prequel to the best film trilogy EVER, Lord of the Rings, is beginning filming in June of this year, according to Sir Ian McKellan. His website was updated with the following message:
"The Hobbit, two films, start shooting in New Zealand in June. Filming will take over a year. Casting in Los Angeles, New York City and London has started. The script too proceeds. The first draft is crammed with old and new friends, again on a quest in Middle Earth."
The Hobbit takes place before the story we saw in the Lord of the Rings and centers around a young Bilbo Baggins. Sir Ian, Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving and Andy Sirkus are all reprising their roles while Peter Jackson is only producing this time. Guillermo del Toro is directing this time. I can't wait for these movies!!!! [source]
