MEGAN MULLALLY PULLS OUT OF NEW BROADWAY SHOW

Megan Mullally has abruptly pulled out of the upcoming Broadway play Lips Together, Teeth Apart just a weeks before the show is set to open. Though no official statement has been released by the Will & Grace star, Hollywood Deadline is reporting that Mullally (she'll always be Karen to me) was not seeing eye-to-eye with director Joe Mantello. "We were surprised and disappointed that Megan Mullally had to withdraw from the production immediately in breach of her contract. With the loss of Megan in a four-person ensemble, work has been delayed after only two weeks of rehearsal," artistic director of the Roundabout Theatre Company, Todd Haimes, said in a statement released Wednesday. While previews will be delayed, Haimes says that the April 29th opening date will remain the same. No replacement has been named for Megan. [source and image]
