OMG!! I am so excited. Although the Grammy committee did not see fit to nominate Gaga (because she was nominated for Best Dance Recording last year...stupid, I know), they DID nominate one of my fave bands, THE TING TINGS!!!! The Ting Tings are a British due who make funky, dance music with a punk edge. Their album, We Started Nothing, is truly amazy and fun and you should check it out for sure. Also nominated in the Best New Artist category is Zac Brown Band (who?), Keri Hilson (um..no), MGMT (another fave of mine!!!) and Silversun Pickups (WTF is that?).
