LILY ALLEN NOT RETIRING, JUST TAKING "ONE OR TWO" YEARS OFF

I am relieved!! Lily Allen, one of my fave hellraising chanteuses, was threatening to quit the music biz earliier this year, although her manager was like HELL NO! Well now Lily is saying she is just going to take a year or two off to focus on "a record label and running a rental clothes store". Rental clothes store? Like a tuxedo shop or a costume shop? Huh? "It's about making fashion democratic," she explained. "That's the idea behind it. It's about getting really nice clothes, but letting people rent them for affordable prices so they can go out and feel like a million dollars and it won't cost them a million dollars." Oh, that sound really.........gross. Anyhoo, Lily states, "I'm going to get into signing new bands, but at a really early level. I don't want to compete with other record companies, but I want to support new artists." Sounds good. I am sure Lils would have a good ear for talent, but I'll miss her not performing for two years. I just saw her this year at Roseland and her show was amazy. Good luck on everything, Lily. Come back soon and don't get fat again.
