SUNDAY IN THE CITY

Ah, Sunday in NYC. It can go either way. If there are too many tourists, you're screwed. If you have the right cup of coffee in the morning, you are invincible. Or anything in between. I had a good day. Woke up, had my coffee, did a load of laundry in my boyfriend's new apartment that has the elusive-in-NYC in-house washer/dryer. I did a little pre-shopping/late-shopping. I was getting ideas for Xmas gifts and for a month-late birthday present. (sorry Vanessa) Then I headed down to the West Village to meet my man after his afternoon show. That's when I spotted the adorable puppy pictured that I sooooo wanted to buy....but I didn't! So we ate at Cowgirl Hall of Fame, one of our fave restaurants in the City, then headed over to watch a show at NYU. A nice, brisk walk home and now settling in to watch Kung Fu Panda. All in all, pretty good Sunday. Glad it hasn't gotten to that temperature in NYC yet where I'm hating life. See you tomorrow.
