ABC has ordered a pilot of a new adaptation of the
supes popular 70s action series Charlie's Angels. Josh Friedman, who recently brought The Terminator to the small screen for Fox, is signed up as executive producer for the reboot. Also someone involved with Aaron Spelling on the original, Leonard
Goldberg, is
on board and Drew Barrymore, who starred and produced in the two CA films that I am obsessed with!!!!! The recent attempts at remaking popular series of the past have been hit-and-miss: Knight Rider,
Melrose Place, Bionic Woman anyone? The original Angels ran from 1976 to '81 and was responsible for making stars out of Farrah
Fawcett, Jacqueline Smith, Kate Jackson and Cheryl
Ladd. Wonder if it will do the same for the new batch. Time will tell. I am excited to see it though. I love Charlie's Angels and the movies! BRINGING JIGGLE BACK TO TELEVISION IS A GOOD THING!!!! [
