Ashlee Simpson has announced that she will be taking over the role of sexy Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago. Ash played the role in London's West End, so it will not be her first swing at the musical theatre stage on this level. She received favorable reviews in the London production, so I say good luck, Ashlee. Simpson is reportedly working on material for a new album as well. Good for her.
