Due to her being nominated for Best Dance Recording for Just Dance at LAST year's awards, Lady Gaga, the clear and only choice anyone would think of, is not eligible for Best New Artist THIS year. BOOOO!!!! I know it's only fair, but since she is the best, most exciting new act since Madonna made the scene (Madonna was not nominated either), I am guessing she'll be nominated for a few other awards. Like BEST THING EVER SINCE MADONNA. That's a category, right? Of all the names being batted around for Best New Artist so far, I am fully on board with MGMT, who I L-O-V-E. They rock.
