VIRGINIA MADSEN GETS A NEW GIG

It's been a while since we've seen her, but Virginia Madsen is set to star an upcoming dramedy series on ABC called Scoundrels. The eight-episode series will premiere this summerabbé center around a family of crooks and Virginia Madsen plays the matriarch who decides it is time to clean up the family's act after her husband is sentenced to some serious time in the pen. Like most shows today, the series based on a foreign show (this time New Zealand) called Outrageous Fortune ( not the classic Bette Midler/Shelly Long comedy from the 80s). It's about time Madsen showed up again. She kinda disappeared since Sideways. I've loved her since Fire With Fire. Soops good 80s teen movie. Look it up. [source]
