MADONNA FRIDAY: SEVERAL EARLY PERFORMANCES OF HOLIDAY

With all the news and excitement surrounding 2012 for Madonna, the recent revelation of the name of her upcoming album, MDNA, and her appearances all over the world looking like $100 million bucks, I thought I'd dig up some of Madonna's very first recorded performances I found in the internet for ya. First, here is a video for 1983's Holiday, Madonna's very first top 40 single. It's super simple, but sure effective in getting across what was her image and style at the time. It's fun to see how Madge could work a low budget video and back-ball-changes for all they're worth. She had it right from the start. The second vid looks like it was made for club play. There is some major 80s greenscreen working in the background. Work, special fx. The third video is from some random French tv performance. Same basic routine, fun outfits! The sound is a little off on that one, but worth a look. AND finally is the live performance from the 1990 Blonde Ambition World Tour. It's shot SO well. Love her. Love this song. Love life.
