DANIEL RADCLIFFE RECIEVES HERO AWARD FROM TREVOR PROJECT

Amazing!Daniel Radcliffe has spoken up on behalf of gay youth for quite some time. He is not gay, by the way, so it makes this even more impressive. To honor his contribution to gay community, The Trevor Project, the leading organization for suicide prevention efforts among gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered youths, is honoring the Harry Potter actor with its Hero Award, which goes to "a person who serves as an inspiration to sexual minority youths and increases visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning, or LGBTQ, community." Radcliffe told The Associated Press, "it’s fantastic. The fact that they think of what I’ve done by promoting awareness of the Trevor Project itself and the issues that it works to promote and help is a great honor.” Daniel has appeared in PSA's for The Trevor Project since 2009 and has promoted the organization many times. I recently saw Radcliffe in How To Succeed, the revival currently running on Broadway, and he was fantastic beyond belief. So charming and talented. Says DanRad, "I meet people at the stage door every night that thank me for what I’m doing with the Trevor project." What an adorable guy!!! Congrats and keep up the good work.
