GEORGE MICHAEL COVERS NEW ORDER FOR CHARITY SINGLE

Every year in the UK they hold Comic Relief to raise funds for those in need all over the world. Every year there is a single released and the profits go to the charity. In the past it's been Bananarama, Cher, Susan Boyle and Spice Girls among others, and this year it's none other than George Michael. For his single he covers the New Order classic from the 80s True Faith. While you may not recognize the title, I'm sure you'll recognize the song. (I used to think that the day would never come....) Anyhoo, just listen. Not sure why all the vocal effects are laid on top of George's still gorgeous voice, but maybe it's the sound they wanted. Who knows. Just enjoy. PS..did George get some work done or is someone sandblasting the film? You decide. The video is pretty awesome I must say. George recently announced he will be releasing and album and touring soon, though no dates have been set.

Not sure what I think of this bizarre cover of one of my fave New Order songs. The dancing figures in the video are definitely a nod to the original
