What's that now? Yes, it's true (according to Courtney Love). At the beginning of her relationship with Gavin Rossdale, apparently he came home smelling like cigarettes and regret to Gwen every night because he was dating Courtney Love too! Courtney claims that she was so smitten with Gav that she had considered marrying him and that when he was dating Gwen they were still together. Courtney eventually got tired of people saying she was only dating Rossdale because he was a clone of Kurt Cobain (in some alternate universe) and so she essentially let him go, freeing him up for Stefani. All was revealed to Howard Stern on his radio show. Courtney said, "I had this vision of marrying Gavin Rossdale one time. (We dated for) eight months... and we were like, 'Let's go spend our rock star money!' We had a really good time... He was lovely... We did like each other quite a bit. But the thing is that everyone gave me so much shit because Gavin sounded like a lot like Kurt... but, man, he was such an Adonis in his day." Well apparently Courtney approached Lily -- already enough to scare a grown man -- at the NME awards show and verbally assaulted the crap out of her. Allen reportedly left the ceremony in tears.
