Oooh la la. George Michael, like any respectable gay, loves his supermodels. His 1990 video for Freedom '90 had already featured a bevy of high-paid sluts beauties and so in 1992 he repeated this theme and put himself on display (slightly) in the video for Too Funky. This time the video is directed by designer Thierry Mugler and features, among others, supermodels Linda Evangelista and Tyra Banks, actresses Julie Newmar and Rossy de Palma and drag queen Lypsinka in a fierce, high fashion video. The amazing costumes were all designed by Mugler. Too Funky was donated by Michael to the Red Hot + Dance album which was a project to raise money for AIDS awareness. Good cause, George! ANYWAY, the sexy video helped the song reach #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #4 in the UK and was all over MTV in the summer of 1992. It's sexy, sassy and has a lot of ass class. Both. Enjoy George Michael's Too Funky and hump a supermodel if you see one on the street today.
