Catchy, sexy, fun summer song, y'all. AND THIS VIDEO. I will say no more.

RIHANNA FINDING KATY PERRY A MAN???? INSULTING FANS ON TWITTER.

Um...I think I'd look for help somewhere else, Katy. Having her good friend Rihanna help her find a suitable mate is like having Lindsay Lohan be your AA sponsor. A "source" says Rihanna wants to help Katy get back our there dating after her divorce from "comedian" Russell Brand. Rihanna decision making is questionable at best, wouldn't you say? Aside from befriending and ALLEGEDLY getting back together with the douche who beat her face, Rihanna has also taken to attacking the looks of young girls who criticize her on twitter. Not good, RiRi. So Katy, I would look elsewhere for a matchmaker. Maybe someone who is known for being lucky in love, like Jennifer Lopez. I kid, I kid.

JENNIFER LOPEZ PERFORMS ON AMERICAN IDOL

AND she sang live! Go, Jenny! Jennifer Lopez performed her hit single On the Floor with Pitbull last night on American Idol, taking advantage of her judge position there, and I have to say, I'm impressed. Jennifer sang live, danced her famous ass off and looked GORGEOUS doing it! Color me Lopez'ed. Watch her go.

JENNIFER LOPEZ DEBUTS AT #1 IN THE UK

Well, well, well. The old Lo still has it. J. Lo's latest single On The Floor (ft. Pitbull) has debuted at #1 on the UK charts and is likely to keep a hold on it for a second week according to mid-week projections. This is Jennifer's third #1 song in the UK. Love Don't Cost a Thing hit the top in 2000 and Get Right reached that summit in 2004. As a matter of fact, if you compare Jen's overall chart positions in the UK and the US, she has done much better overseas. Some of her songs that didn't even come close to the top 40 here were top 10 hits there. On The Floor reached #5 here on the Hot 100. Congrats, girl! Looks like the American Idol move is really paying off. Check out the video for On The Floor.

NEW VIDEO: JENNIFER LOPEZ - ON THE FLOOR

We know it debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #9, her highest debut ever, and now she is gracing us with a video. The song? Eh. The video? Hot!!! Nicely done, Jennifer. Looks like you may have your music career back in gear. Why didn't it work for Paula? Anyhoo, J. Lo is looking better than ever these days. Check out the pimped out video for On the Floor (ft. Pit Bull).

J. LO SURGES BACK ONTO THE HOT 100 WITH ON THE FLOOR

Jennifer Lopez is back on the music charts. Not only is she back, she has posted her highest debut ever. On the Floor (ft. Pit Bull) leaps onto the Hot 100 at #9 this week. Lopez' last top 10 hit was All I Have (ft. LL Cool J) back in 2003. Whoda thunk? It's Jenn's 10th top 10 song, which included 4 #1s. I can honetsly say, I have not heard this song and have had very little interest in her new music since that awful Louboutin song came out and she assaulted my ears with her cover of Venus for the hairy lady commercials. The song is the first official single off of the upcoming album Love? which is set for release April 19th.

LADY GAGA WINS FIVE WORLD MUSIC AWARDS!!

The annual World Music Awards , honoring recording artists based on worldwide sales figures provided by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, were held in Monaco and our Lady Gaga walked away with FIVE awards. Yea!! She took home World's Best Single (Poker Face), World's Best Album (The Fame), World's Best Pop/Rock Artist, World's Best New Artist and the award for Best Selling Artist in America. Wow! Those are some major awards, y'all! Gaga also has scored her SEVENTH consecutive top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 as Alejandro breaks in at #8. Jennifer Lopez was honored with the Legend for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts. Okay. That's stretching it a little bit, but girlfriend probably needs a pick-me-up lately. Also picking up awards were The Black Eyed Peas, U2, David Guetta and Beyonce. Click HERE for a full list of winners and nominees. [image]

JENNIFER LOPEZ TO STAR IN REMAKE OF OVERBOARD

The original Overboard is one of my fave funny movies of all time. Goldie Hawn is literally flawless in every sense of the word in that film. Classic, classic, classic. So naturally, Hollywood wants to rape it until it's dead. That honor is going to none other than Jennifer Lopez. Now, in her defense, I do think she is right for the part of a rich, spoiled wife who gets amnesia from falling off a yacht and being hit by a garbage scow, loses her memory and is tricked into servitude by a country carpenter, but is she funny enough??? Probably not. Hence the rape! Who will play the Kurt Russell role? Mickey Rourke? Jebus!!! Is this the day of remaking things to ruin my childhood or what!!! First Flashdance, now Overboard. Someone is trying to kill me on this lovely Saturday! [source]

AMANDA SEYFRIED AND JENNIFER LOPEZ: STUNNING AT THE OSCARS

These were probably my two favorite dresses of the night: [images]

THE 82ND ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS

The Oscars were given out last night and I would have to say there were not a lot of big surprises. Not everything went the way I wanted it to, but it wasn't shocking since I tend to vote with my heart, not my brain (I would have given my left one to see Meryl Streep win an Oscar this year). The red carpet was full of glamour with standouts like Meryl Streep, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Lopez. The men brought it too!! Looking hot were Tom Ford (duh), Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Lautner and Zac Efron (yum). By the way, Sarah Jessica Parker looked great and I don't care what anyone says!!!! She can do NO WRONG!!! Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin were absolutely freakin' hilarious as the hosts (with a little help from awards show stealer Neil Patrick Harris), but even these vets couldn't keep the show from running past midnight. So, the awards!!!!! Of course the big story here is the fact that, after 81 years of Oscars, the first woman to ever win a Best Director award is Kathryn Bigelow. Congrats to her!! They even pulled Barbra Streisand out of hiding with her new neck to present the Oscar to her. Here are some of the highlights:

Best Supporting Actor: Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds)

Best Supporting Actress: Mo'Nique (Precious)

Best Song: The Weary Kind (Crazy Heart)

Original Screenplay: The Hurt Locker

Cinematography: Avatar

Best Actor: Jeff Bridges (Crazy Heart)

Best Actress: Sandra Bullock (The Blind Side)

Best Director: Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker)

Best Picture: The Hurt Locker

JENNIFER LOPEZ NO LONGER WITH SONY

J. Lo is no longer with her long-time record label, Sony Epic. Her album Love? is no longer coming out. Her movie, The Back Up Plan (ugh) has been pushed back. What the hell is going on with J. LO? Well according to her manager, Benny Medina, "Jennifer had a wonderful relationship with the Sony Music Group, and they have shared many successes together, but the time was right to make a change that best serves the direction of her career as an actress and recording artist, she is grateful and appreciative to everyone at Sony for all that they accomplished." Now I think in manager-speak that might mean: "Jennifer put out a couple of crappy singles, no one wants them, Sony dumped her ass and now she needs a new label." Right? Doesn't that sound more likely? Unless by the "direction of her career as an actress and recording artist" he means away from popularity. I ain't trying to hate on Jennifer, but this is the way things work when you are not making your record company any $$$. Good luck, Jennifer. You need to get a nomination for something... besides a Blockbuster award. [source]

JENNIFER LOPEZ TO "SERVE IT UP" ON GLEE

Brian Falchuk, exec. producer for the Golden Globe winning television phenomenon Glee has confirmed that they are in talks with Jennifer Lopez to join the show next season as a cafeteria worker. "Discussions are ongoing and we haven't gotten into the episode she'd be appearing in," Falchuk states. I think it's hilarious J.Lo will be playing a cafeteria worker. She DOES have a sense of humor about herself. Will she sing? Will she dance? Will she have a romance? I guess we'll just have to wait and find out. [source]

JENNIFER LOPEZ PERFORMANCE ON ELLEN

Here is the Jennifer Lopez performance of her new (boring) single on Ellen. Exact same performance as the AMAs but without the fall. Oh, and this time she doesn't sing anything live. I think she was singing with a track at the AMAs. Whatever. Here.

NEW JENNIFER LOPEZ: LOUBOUTINS

JOKE ALERT: How many producers does it take to make a Jennifer Lopez song? 12. 11 to write it and one to teach the computer how to sing it. SNAP!!!!

J.Lo is coming back on the music scene. With a new single coming out and a high-octane performance planned for this Sunday on the American Music Awards, Jennifer is busting out of the block and hitting the stage. Her new single, Louboutins (yes, like the shoes) is on the net and it's.......okay. I mean she is in key (unlike THIS mess she released recently), but it lacks the same magic as her past hits like Love Don't Cost a Thing, Waiting for Tonight, or Jenny From the Block. Is it time for Jennifer to try movies again? I haven't given up hope yet. I love ya still, Jen 'Pez!!!! Here's Louboutins.

JENNIFER LOPEZ COCK-BLOCKS HER EX-HUSBAND'S BANK ACCOUNT

Jennifer Lopez really doesn't want her ex-hubby, Ojani Noa, to make any $$$ off their marriage. J.Lo has filed a lawsuit, suing Noa for $10 million in damages. Ojani was married to Jenny from the Block in 1997/98 and is getting a documentary entitled "How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J. Lo and Ojani Noa Story". Nice title. Really rolls right off the tongue. But wait!!! Jennifer had the fomer love sign a legally-binding settlement in which he agreed to never release any information about the time they were hubby and wife. Ojani in insisting this movie is "100 per cent parody". Thus the name??? Lopez is giving him a big "J.No!!" and is taking his azz to court. I doubt Noa has $10 million, so J.Lo is just trying to scare him. [picture source]

JENNIFER LOPEZ TO DEBUT NEW SINGLE AT AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

“Fresh Out The Oven”, a song recently released by J.Lo under the name Lola, was just a taste of new music (like it or not...I didn't) Her new single, produced by Tricky Stewart and written by The-Dream, will be called “Louboutins". Originally recorded by Brandy, after she split with Epic Records, the track was given to Jen. Rumor has it that she will be perfoming “Louboutins” at the American Music Awards on November 22nd. I hope that this song is better than "Fresh Out The Oven". I am not a fan of autotune, but that song needed some!!!! Check it out here. [source]
