GOLDFRAPP NOMINATED FOR TWO GRAMMY AWARDS

My fave band Goldfrapp has garnered yet another round of Grammy Award nominations, this year for their amazy album Head First. The first single from the cd, Rocket, has been nominated in the category of Best Dance Recording and the album is up for the award for Best Electronic/Dance Album. Of course, I am sure that Goldfrapp will show up on my end of year round-up (see last years singles and albums). This album is really superb and I have listened to it an infinite amount of times since its release last March. It's an electronic romp through the 80s sound with that special Goldfrapp magic. They are truly one of a kind. Goldfrapp recently ended their contract with Mute/EMI and are expected to release one last album, a Best Of, with the label sometime in the coming year.
