Her album of blues standards called Memphis Blues is nominated for a Grammy in the category of Best Traditional Blues Album. The album was released on June 22, 2010 and spent 13 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. This marks Lauper's 13th Grammy nomination, her first being her win for Best New Artist in 1985 for her groundbreaking debut She's So Unusual.
