HILARY DUFF PERFORMS ACOUSTIC VERSION OF 'TATTOO' FROM NEW ALBUM IN HER BACKYARD

Lovely!! Hilary Duff has an amazing new album out, Breathe In. Breathe Out. That's the name of the album, not a Lamaze tutorial. You can read my review HERE. Anyway, Tattoo is one of the many excellent songs on the album and it's co-written by Ed Sheeren. The album version is little rockier than this take, but this is quite lovely and shows that Hilary isn't afraid to strip it down a little. Get Breathe In. Breathe Out. now!

REVIEW: HILARY DUFF - BREATHE IN. BREATHE OUT. BEAUTIFUL, BREEZY POP REALNESS.

It's been eight long years since Hilary Duff released an album of original music. 2007's Dignity was cutting edge dance pop that made me think that Hilary was locked and loaded to become America's Kylie. All the signs were there: Adorable hotness, girlish vocals and attitude for days. The album garnered praise and attention. Then.........nothing. Hilary disappeared from the music scene. She was still popping up on TV and made occasional appearances, but mainly she married, had a kid and settled down. Well things have changed. Hilary still has her kid of course (she's not an animal) but she is divorced and famously on Tinder and back in the music biz with her catchy A.F. new album Breathe In. Breathe Out. This album is absolute pop perfection, y'all!!! From the infectious lead track, first single Sparks, co-written by Tove Lo, we are off and running. Tove Lo actually co-wrote several tracks on BIBO and Hilary perfectly brings out the edgy, female power pop attitude that Tove brings to her own music. My Kind, One In A Million and Confetti give a powerful 1, 2, 3 punch of dance floor adrenaline and electro-ballads like the title track, the Rihanna-influenced Lies and Arms Around a Memory show the vulnerability that comes from the now-adult Hilary Duff can bring to her vocals. Unceremoniously cut from the final album are the tracks previewed back in summer of last year, Chasing the Sun and All About You, which both had more of a Sheryl Crow/Colbie Callait kind of feel to them. I say good riddance. I was not excited about that trajectory AT ALL. This album is a tour de force of beautiful, breezy summer pop that will have you shaking it by the pool for months. Hilary is back and may be back on the Kylie track. Watch the video for Sparks below and audio from a couple of the tracks below then go BUY THIS ALBUM.

HILARY DUFF DEBUTS HOT NEW SONG 'SPARKS'

YES!! This is more like it, Hilary!! After a couple of questionable singles (Chasing the Sun and All About You) marking the return of Hilary Duff to the music scene, we finally get a worthy pop song of the would-be American Kylie. Her last full length album, the amazing 2007 release Dignity, was a dance floor delight: adult, sexy and cutting edge. Sparks puts Hilary back in the present scene with its club beats and catchy whistle refrain. Listen and love. Welcome back, Hilary!!! Hilary's new album, This Heart, has not set its release date as of yet. Let's hope there's a lot more of this!!!

NEW HILARY DUFF - ALL ABOUT YOU

Hilary Duff has a new album coming out, y'all!! I know, it's not 2005, but I'm still excited. Here is the video/Amazon phone ad for her second single, All About You, from her upcoming as-yet-unnamed album. Her last single, Chasing the Sun, and this song take a much more guitar-based, acoustic direction than her last album, the amazing Dignity from way back in 2007. This video does, however, show off some sexy moves from the Duffster. Damn she's pretty!!! The song is pretty catchy too, I must admit. Watch All About You and see for yourself if Lizzie McGuire still has it. Looking forward to the new album.

LADY GAGA DOES BAD ROMANCE ON GOSSIP GIRL

While I don't watch Gossip Girl, I did record it last night to fast forward to Lady Gaga's performance of Bad Romance. (Fun Fact: IT WAS AT THE VERY END!!! ARGH!) Anyhoo, unfortunately, Gaga's performance was not the main focus of the part she was performing. They kept cutting out to dialogue between the characters, so you don't really get the full Gaga-effect. Check it out anyway. Hilary Duff looks pretty!!!

HILARY DUFF DOES SOME GIRL-ON-GIRL ON GOSSIP GIRL

So now it's Gossip Girl-on-Girl? LEZzie McGuire? Hilary Duff is currently on Gossip Girl and this week she played a little slap and tickle with Penn Badgley (YUMMY) and another girl played by Jessica Szohr!! Hilary is looking hot these days and I am not one to deny anyone some lez action. Lipstick lesbians are hot! Ha. Enjoy a little lip action by the ladies!!!
