CFDA's NEW BOOK - IMPACT: 50 YEARS OF THE COUNCIL OF FASHION DESIGNERS OF AMERICA

The CFDA has put together a book spanning it's 50 year involvement in the American fashion industry. Oh, their youtube channel explains it better than I do:

"IMPACT: 50 Years of the Council of Fashion Designers of America is the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the CFDA, and explores the impact of America's most influential designers over the last five decades. As a companion to the book, the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City will host the exhibition, IMPACT: 50 Years of the CFDA (February 10--April 17, 2012) For more information go to: www.cfda.com"

The CFDA has been at the forefront of the American fashion industry and helps protect and promote originality and the ownership of ideas. Watch the video below and visit the website for more details. Buy the book and visit the museum at FIT.
