Starting March 3rd it is highly likely that gays will be able to apply for marriage licenses and marry in our nation's capital. There is a three day waiting period in DC after getting your license, so that would mean that gay could formally marry on Tuesday, March 9th (weekends don't count). Council memeber David Catania has a countdown clock on his website set for March 3rd. Unless there is some kind of bigot uprising, it looks like the capital of the United States of America will be full of gay wedding joy soon. YEA, EQUALITY!!!!!!! [source]

GAY MARRIAGES WILL BE LEGAL IN OUR NATION'S CAPITAL
