ELTON JOHN THINKS JESUS WAS SUPER SMART..AND GAY

If Elton says it's true, then it must be true! Elton John has always been an opinionated person. That's no secret. This particular opinion might raise some eyebrows. In a recent interview with Parade.com Elton says, "I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems. On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him. Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving. I don't know what makes people so cruel." Good point. I don't know where he is drawing the conclusion that Jesus was gay, but the rest of the statement really can't be argued with. Whether you believe in the lessons in the Bible or not, Jesus was talking about compassion and love and forgiveness. It's all the crazies that made up the stuff about what "God hates" and bullshit like that. It would explain a lot of Jesus were gay. I mean, those abs!!! Of course everyone is losing their minds over Elton's comments. One delusional commenter on TheDailyBeast.com says, "While I have had some appreciation for Elton John's music... he could not be further from the truth on this matter regarding Jesus. It is clearly stated in Leviticus 18:22, 23; that Christ sees homosexuality as an abomination." Um... no. Leviticus is in the OLD Testament. Christ wasn't saying anything in the Old Testament, you idiot!!! Also I believe their are many "Christians" who ARE in fact much further from the truth than what Elton is stating. People are idiots. If everyone ACTUALLY followed the lessons that Jesus taught, maybe there would be less hate and more compassion. ps.. I am not a religious person, so don't think for a second that I am.
