LADY GAGA ON OPRAH TODAY!!

Lady Gaga stopped by The Oprah Winfrey Show today to give a little mini-concert for the very last Harpo's Hook-Ups show. Gaga sang an acoustic Born This Way and her song You and I on a giant high-heeled shoe designed by her sister. I know. It's always something with this girl. Anyway, needless to say she tore it up! Then there was a little lovefest between the ladies. Gaga is the best and so is Oprah. Watch below.

JOAN JETT PERFORMS WITH MILEY CYRUS ON OPRAH

Miley gets a couple of points for having the good taste to idolize Joan Jett. I LOVE Joan Jett. She is the hardest rocking woman in music. Oprah did a whole day of women in rock on her show, featuring Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, Salt-n-Pepa adn more. Here is Joan and Miley on a couple of her greatest hits. I have to say, Joan totally kicks Miley's ass on stage though. Obviously!!! It's hilarious to see Oprah singing along to Cherry Bomb too. Ha!!!

GLAAD MEDIA AWARDS HANDED OUT

PORTIA DE ROSSI ON OPRAH

The amazingly beautiful Portia de Rossi appeared on Oprah and gave a brilliant, gutsy, smart interview about her life covering topics such as her anorexia, being closeted in Hollywood, coming out and the effects of that on her mother. When Oprah tells Portia that she got the most hate mail she ever received just for playing the therapist on her wife Ellen's famous coming out episode in 1997, Portia can't hold back the tears. de Rossi is an excellent sposkesperson for the gay community and this interview is lovely. THE CAST OF THE SOUND OF MUSIC ON OPRAH!! WATCH

The cast of the classic movie musical The Sound of Music reunited on Oprah last week. It's been 45 years since the movie's release and it's one of the most beloved films of all time. Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer and all the "kids" showed up to chat with the big O and tell us about their experience with the film. Can you believe Julie Andrews is 75? She looks great!!!! CHRISTINA AGUILERA PERFORMS ON OPRAH

First off, let me say that this wig does not work. It looks like it's from the Bea Arthur collection. That being said, Christina Aguilera can sing her face off!! Here she is on Oprah yesterday at Radio City Music Hall singing her new single Not Myself Tonight.

OPRAH ADDRESSES HER KITTY KELLEY BIOGRAPHY

...and she ain't havin' it!! Winfrey addressed the scandalous Oprah: A Biography, written by Kitty Kelley, for the first time during The New York Women in Communications Matrix Awards on Monday, where she handed an award to her best friend Gayle King. The book alleges many things about O including drug use, overstating her poor upbringing, lesbian affairs and more. Oprah referred to the book as a "so-called biography" while addressing the crowd and mentioned that the book caused King quite a bit of distress. "Last week was a rough week for Gayle when a so-called biography came out. Every day she's getting herself more and more worked up about all of my new daddies that are now showing up. New daddies who are saying, 'Hello daughter, call me, I need a new roof.' Well, this too shall pass." Good attitude, Oprah. You have nothing to prove AT ALL! Kitty Kelley is such a hack making money off of other people based on gossip and hearsay. Oprah has done so much good for, not just people here in the U.S., but people around the world. KITTY KELLEY NOT HAVING AN EASY TIME PROMOTING HER OPRAH BIOGRAPHY

Kitty Kelley has written many revealing, controversial unauthorized biographies in her time including Jackie O., Elizabeth Taylor, Sinatra and Nancy Reagan. Now she has set her sights on Oprah with a (supposed) tell-all biography coming out alleging lesbian affairs with Diane Sawyer and others, that she lied about her poor upbringing, interviews with the man who raised her (not her biological father, whom she also claims to know the identity of) and other salacious details. Well, Kitty made it onto the Today Show and told Matt Lauer that she is not having an easy time promoting her book because other shows are afraid the wrath of Oprah will fall down upon their heads if they talk to her. She says Barbara Walters, Larry King and Rachael Ray have said hell-to-the-no to interviewing her about her book. DUH!! Who wants Oprah on their bad side if they can avoid it. HEAVEN!!!! The John Burroughs High School choir, Powerhouse, performs their rendition of Madonna's Vogue and Oprah. Some of the stars of Glee surprise them to give them the news, they cry and cheer, then they are fierce as all-get-out on Oprah. Watch below!!

SHANIA TWAIN GETS A REALITY SHOW ON OPRAH'S NETWORK

Country queen Shania Twain is coming back, but it's on tv. The Canadian superstar, 44, who went through a very public divorce with producer Mutt Lange in 2008, will premiere Why Not? with Shania Twain on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network. "The show will follow [Twain] as she begins her climb back to the top, a personal journey filled with risk, revelations and unexpected adventures," according to a statement from the network. Shania has slowing been coming back into the spotlight and dating world, having started a romance with a man named Frederic, who happens to be the ex-husband of the woman that Mutt was cheating her with, who happened to be her best friend at the time. If that is what the show is going to be like I'm there! I miss Shania. Her last three albums, which I LOVED, sold about 30 jillion copies, so I think there's an audience waiting for her to come back. HOWARD STERN TALKS SHIZZ ON GABOUREY SIDIBE

Howard Stern used his Sirius radio show to talk crap on Precious star Gabby Sidebe. The recent Oscar nominee was not there to defend herself. Howard raged:
"There's the most enormous, fat black chick I've ever seen. She is enormous. Everyone's pretending she's a part of show business and she's never going to be in another movie," he said. "She should have gotten the Best Actress award because she's never going to have another shot. What movie is she gonna be in?"
Well Howard should have done some homework beacause Gabby's next movie is already lined up, Yelling to the Sky, AND she is cast in the Showtime pilot The C Word. He also bantered with Robin Quivers about Oprah saying she had a ling career ahead of her saying:
"Oprah's another liar, a filthy liar," said Stern. "She's telling an enormous woman the size of a planet that she's going to have a career."

THIS JUST IN: LINDSAY LOHAN OWNS THE NAME LINDSAY

Guess who is desparate for money??!!!! Lindsay Lohan is reportedly suing E-Trade fir using the name "Lindsay" in their new baby-themed ads about a "milkaholic" baby who steals another baby's boyfriend. Granted the "aholic" and slutty references are on spot, but c'mon!!!! Lohan wants them to pony up $100 million, The NY Post is reportin Stephanie Ovadia, Lohan's attorney, says that saying "Lindsay" is the same as saying Oprah or Madonna. "Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit," Ovadia said.... with a straight face. Really? You are comparing Lindsay to Oprah and Madonna!??! DON'T SUE OPRAH...YOU WON'T WIN

Some physical trainers, Unicus Performance Training, are suing Oprah Winfrey and her Harpo, Inc. for firing and not paying for the workout plan they were developing for the company. Oprah and co. fired Unicus for breach of contract after Unicus sent out a mass email promoting their appearance on Oprah's radio show. Turns out, they were not allowed to do that according to a confidentiality agreement they signed. TMZ got a copy of the contract and it states that Unicus was not supposed to "use HARPO's name, Oprah.com's name or Ms. Winfrey's name" for any promotional or advertising use AT ALL!! Sounds like Oprah's got a pretty good case to me. DUH! Who beats Oprah?

OPRAH'S "OWN" NETWORK STARTS WITH A LOOK AT OPRAH

Oprah may be leaving her show after 25 years, but that doesn't mean you won't be seeing her again. Her Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN, as is "she OWNs you") will kick off with a one-hour docu-series, Behind the Scenes: Oprah's 25th Season. It will be an all-access look at what goes into the making of the long-running chat show. OWN also announced a few new series that will be debuting when the network gets going:

Kid-napped - Kids get control of their workaholic parents, taking away their cell phones and computers and spending some quality family time.

Miracle Detectives - Two detectives, one a sceptic and one a believer, investigate "miracles" around the world interviewing witnesses and authorities as well as on-site investigation.

Search - Pam Slaton, renowed search specialist, helps three different people find missing loved ones.

Sentenced - Taking place in the Rockville Correctional Facility, a maximum-security women's prison in Indiana, this show will feature women incarcerated in the prison and focus on rehabilitation.

Sounds like a semi-interesting lineup, but I was hoping for a couple of scripted shows from Oprah as well. Maybe something about eating or lesbianism. Maybe next season. [source]

SUSAN BOYLE LOSES HER SHIZZ AT THE AIRPORT

Susan Boyle is either becoming a diva or losing her mind! Susan decided to give an impromptu concert Tuesday at London't Heathrow Airport......INTO A MOP! SuBo went ape shizz in the first class lounge singing into the mop and dacing around. She was waiting to board a British Airways flight on her way to Chicago to appear on Oprah! THAT should make for an interesting interview. Susan apparently using her famous (mediocre) voice to shout out every curse word she could think of also. One source present at the Scottish cow's performance said, "It was chaos. Susan was very restless and agitated from the minute she walked in and immediately started making a scene. She was singing and dancing around, shouting obscenities at full volume." YIKES! Sounds like SuBo should tour with Mariah! Get on the crazy train. I would see that tour for sure. (that rhymed) Okay. OPRAH ANNOUNCES THE END DATE FOR HER SHOW

The ruler of the free world, Oprah Winfrey, is set to announce to her followers that she will end her show in 2011. That is the plot of a new disaster movie called 2011. Oprah tells audience, audience loses their collective mind, havoc is reaked!!!! Ha. It actually might happen that way, so maybe I shouldn't joke. The big O has already announced that she will be starting her own network, OWN (The Oprah Winfrey Network, also meaning she OWNs you and everything else!) with the Discovery Network. JENNA JAMESON ON OPRAH

Jenna Jameson, one of if not THE biggest pornstars ever on the face (or other parts) of the planet was on Oprah yesterday. The show was all about porn and erotica and Jenna was there to talk about her life now as a retired pornstar and mother of two twin boys. We get a look at her home (WOW!!) and she talks with Oprah about how she feels about her past and her future. It's a very interesting and insightful interview. JENNIFER ANISTON AND OPRAH TO APPEAR ON TV SHOW TOGETHER

Oprah is set to own television next year (well, her own chanel, The Oprah Winfrey Network) and Jennifer Aniston is going to be a part of it. Jennifer is apparently friends with Chelsea Handler and thought it would be fun to do a chat show of her own. She mentioned it to Oprah. Oprah commanded the universe to make it happen by sacrificing 20 of her servents, and WHAM!! Jennifer and Oprah are doing a talk show together!!! Jen is worth about $210 million, so insiders say her only reason for doing the show is because she damn well feels like it.
