I have all of Melanie C's solo albums (of which there are 4) and she is kinda awesome, y'all. Despite having huge success in the UK with her solo career,(she holds the third position for most #1s by a female in the UK) she never really hit on her own in the States. She did however have a couple of songs on the Billboard Dance Charts, including I Turn to You, which hit #1 on the Dance Club chart. Now she is back with a single that is part of the promotion of the Women's World Cup called Rock Me. It's really good. The video shows a great-looking Mel with dancers and some soccer-lovin' ladies putting themselves through the paces with impressive skills on display. Watch and love. Way to go, Mel.
