Yay!!! One of my favorite singers of all time, the incomparable Cyndi Lauper turns 58 today!! Cyndi is a true one-of-a-kind artist and set the mold for many ladies who came after her. Since hitting the charts with her debut album, the iconic She's So Unusual, back in 1983, Cyndi has been a non-stop performing machine. Her hits Girls Just Want To Have Fun, Time After Time, True Colors and I Drove All Night have become modern day classics and there's no stopping her. Her last album, Memphis Blues, was the #1 Blues album of the year on the Billboard charts last year. Go, Cyndi!!!
