Season 3 is starting TONIGHT (April 21st) on Comedy Central and Amy promises a year of rule breaking like you've never seen. Here is a little taste to celebrate what she is calling "The Year of the Butt", her take on the "booty song" craze, Milk Milk Lemonade. Enjoy!!

MADONNA, JIMMY FALLON & THE ROOTS SING HOLIDAY + HER STAND-UP DEBUT
Madonna was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and, like he often does with musical guests, he had The Roots join in on a jam sessions with classroom instruments. What song did they choose? Of course Madonna's very first big hit, 1983's Holiday! It's nice to see Madonna have some fun with the boys. She also did one of the most awkward stand-up routines you've ever seen. It's kind of hilarious to see her do something she's clearly not good at. Enjoy below!!

LENA DUNHAM LOOKING COOL IN VOGUE
Lena Dunham is on the cover of this month's Vogue and she is giving quirky girl fierceness, y'all! Lena is dubbed the "New Queen of Comedy" by the fashion mag. And they are a fashion mag, so they know comedy, in case you were doubting their authority on the subject. In the interview Lena discusses everything from sex, her own privacy, her writing process, her boyfriend Jack Antanoff from the bandFun and, of course, her hit show/cultural phenomenon Girls on HBO. The layout is stunning and even features the hunky weirdo Adam Driver who plays her love interest on Girls. The third season of the show just started and it airs on Sundays on HBO. JOAN RIVERS TO CHELSEA HANDLER: "DON'T YOU COME AFTER ME, YOU WHORE"
If I were Chelsea, I would listen. When it comes to a battle of the wits, few can compare with the Queen of Comedy herself, Joan Rivers. Apparently, Chelsea was on Howard Stern's Sirius radio show and had some not-so-nice things to say about our Joan. Apparently, Joan had done some stand up and commented on how Chelsea was treated so much better than her, not saying anything bad about Chelsea. Chelsea, having a lesser sense of humor, decided to take it the wrong way and go off on the legend. Well, Joan came on the next day and had some VERY serious words for Chelsea, including the quote in the title and about how she got her current job. Ha. Joan does not mince words. Team Joan 1,000% on this one. I don't think Chelsea is funny or clever AT ALL. She just says "bitch" a lot and spouts juvenile insults at people. Snore. Joan is a comedian of the highest degree and has been for decades. Don't mess with the best, Chelsea. Watch the video below to get the rundown on what went down.

COMEDIAN TODD GLASS COMES OUT OF THE CLOSET
Yesterday on Marc Maron's pobcast WTF, comedian Todd Glass, best known from Last Comic Standing, The Sarah Silverman Program and appearances on Jimmy Kimmel and Conan O'Brien and Politically Correct, came out as a gay man. Glass has been around for years and has actually been in a relationship for several years and out to his parents and close friends for 15 years, but has never discussed it publicly. His decision to come out was based on the recent rash of LGBT youth suicides. Glass explains:"I cannot listen to stories about kids killing themselves any longer without thinking, 'When are you going to have a little blood on your shirt for not being honest about who you are?"
Congrats, Todd!! Welcome to the party. See you at the meetings. But seriously, it's great to see a man in the comedy world come out. We are everywhere, y'all!! Get used to it. Call me, Todd. By the way, you can listen to the full 87 minute podcast HERE.

WATCH THE OPENING FOR SNL JAPAN
Yes, it exists!! Not only that, but the opening is VERY similar, right down to Don Pardo's beloved voice. I read that the comedy on the show is more geared toward the Japanese humor (i.e. a little more slapstick), but the opening is adorable. The set looks a little flashier too (again, Japan). The show debuted this month in Japan and the pic on this post is the cast of SNL Japan. Watch this!!Monday, January 31, 2011
