Vogue is arguably Madonna's most iconic single of all time. It is sexy, smart and timeless, as fresh today as the day it was released, March 20, 1990. Vogue brought house music to the mainstream and introduced a dance craze started in the underground drag balls in New York to middle America. There are many, many classic performances of the Vogue and here are, in my opinion, some of the very best. Starting with my favorite performance form her Girlie Show Tour, The MDNA World Tour, Sticky and Sweet Tour, Blond Ambition Tour and finally the classic 1990 MTV Video Music Awards performance. Each one a lesson is being a fierce bitch. Watch and love. Happy Madonna Friday!

MADONNA FRIDAY: HANKY PANKY

"Nothing like a good spanky". Oh, my! You saucy little whore!!! Madonna's 1990 album, I'm Breathless (Music from and inspired by the film Dick Tracy) has many, many gems on it, but Hanky Panky was something of a naughty standout. The album featured three songs by Broadway master composer Stephen Sondheim and the rest of the track listing was filled out mostly by songs written by Madonna and long-time collaborator Patrick Leonard. Hanky Panky is a saucy tale of a girl who enjoys a little sadism in her life. The song, like all the songs except Vogue on the album, is in the big band, Broadway, jazzy style to match the film Dick Tracy in which Madonna played the sexy Breathless Mahoney. In short, it rocks!! Hanky Panky was released in the summer of 1990 as the second single, following Vogue, from I'm Breathless and quickly rose to #10 on the Hot 100. No video was made for the song, but this is the performance from Madonna's legendary Blond Ambition Tour. So good you'll want a spanky yourself! Now spend the rest of the day listening to Madonna or you're a heathen. "My bottom hurts just thinking about it".

LENA DUNHAM LOOKING COOL IN VOGUE

Lena Dunham is on the cover of this month's Vogue and she is giving quirky girl fierceness, y'all! Lena is dubbed the "New Queen of Comedy" by the fashion mag. And they are a fashion mag, so they know comedy, in case you were doubting their authority on the subject. In the interview Lena discusses everything from sex, her own privacy, her writing process, her boyfriend Jack Antanoff from the bandFun and, of course, her hit show/cultural phenomenon Girls on HBO. The layout is stunning and even features the hunky weirdo Adam Driver who plays her love interest on Girls. The third season of the show just started and it airs on Sundays on HBO. ICONA POP'S NEW VIDEO CELEBRATES DRAG BALL CULTURE! WATCH "ALL NIGHT"

Icona Pop are not ready to rest on the monster success of I Love It, their long-time-coming smash hit. They are back with All Night, and  are enlisting the help of the drag elite for their video. If you have ever seen the amazing documentary Paris is Burning (if you're gay and you haven't, shame on you! It's on Netlix) then you are familiar with the hard work and glamour that goes along with these lovely creatures in the world of drag ball culture. This is a nice little tribute to them. By the way, the guy who is speaking on the couch in the beginning is named Jose Xtranaganza, or as he's identified at the end of the video Father Jose, and he was one of Madonna main dancers during her Vogue/Blond Ambition Tour era and helped her learn to vogue.
