The annual World Music Awards , honoring recording artists based on worldwide sales figures provided by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, were held in Monaco and our Lady Gaga walked away with FIVE awards. Yea!! She took home World's Best Single (Poker Face), World's Best Album (The Fame), World's Best Pop/Rock Artist, World's Best New Artist and the award for Best Selling Artist in America. Wow! Those are some major awards, y'all! Gaga also has scored her SEVENTH consecutive top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 as Alejandro breaks in at #8. Jennifer Lopez was honored with the Legend for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts. Okay. That's stretching it a little bit, but girlfriend probably needs a pick-me-up lately.
