Madonna has announced today that her 2012 world tour will begin on May 29th in Tel Aviv!! This, her ninth concert tour, will be her most extensive as far as the number of shows. Wow! She just does NOT slow down, this one. On this trek Madonna will visit Australia for the first time in 20 years, since her Girlie Show was famously filmed there and, according to Billboard, the show will touch down in "26 European markets, including London, Paris, Milan and Berlin, before hitting North American shores beginning Aug. 28 in Philadelphia. Twenty-six shows are planned for North America, including a Sept. 6 show at New York's Yankee Stadium, and an Oct. l0 performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale beginning Feb. 10 in Tel Aviv and the U.K., with North American tickets going on sale beginning Feb. 13. Tickets for North America are available at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com." WOOHOO!!! The tour will be in support of her upcoming 12th studio album, MDNA. More like MDNYay!! So there!!
