SNL LAMPOONS AND DEFENDS LANA DEL REY. PLUS HER DAVID LETTERMAN PERFORMANCE

Kristen Wiig does it again!!! Oscar nominee Kristen Wiig (I love saying that) appeared on SNL's Weekend Update segment this weekend as controversial singer Lana Del Rey. In what at first seemed to be a dis at Del Rey, the sketch turned out to be a pretty strong argument in defense of the singer. Wiig spoke up about her name change, the questionable performers who have appeared on the show before her and nailed her mannerisms in the meantime. Bravo, Kristen and good for SNL for not throwing Lana under the bus. Secondly, watch Lana's performance on Late Night with David Letterman. She did a great job and David and Paul all but kissed her feet at the end. They were very sweet to her. Nice job, Lana. And nice job camera man for not just sticking the camera on her full body and making it weird! Ha. Turning things around, Lana. Her album is good, y'all!! Get it.
