It WAS going to be Lindsay Lohan's comeback movie during one of her one-week "I'm all better" periods, but obviously that didn't work out. Then Malin Akerman was going to play Lovelace. NOW it looks like there is finally a script with an A-list up-and-comer attached. Variety reports that Amanda Seyfried, the extraordinarily gorgeous star of Mamma Mia, Jennifer's Body and In Time has signed on to star in Lovelace, which will be directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman and will also star Peter Sarsgaard as Chuck Traynor, Linda Lovelace's abusive husband. I'm guessing there is going to be quite a bit of over-the-top nudity and sexuality. Go, Amanda. Take a risk and go for it. She'll be great.
