DURAN DURAN'S LIVE STREAM CONCERT TO BE DIRECTED BY DAVID LYNCH

FUN!! Duran Duran, the seminal 80s Brit band, will be giving a live stream concert on March 23rd, the day after the physical release of their fantastic new album All You Need Is Now (which is already available digitally), and the show will be directed by the wildly talented and wacky David Lynch. It's all a part of the American Express' "Unstaged" concert series. Of course Lynch has directed such brilliantly weird films as Blue Velvet, Wild At Heart and Mulholland Drive. Duran Duran is ready for any freakiness he might bring. "The stranger it is, the more beautiful it will be," Duran keyboardist Nick Rhodes tells Billboard.com. Billboard reports:

"Among the innovations Lynch has planned for the Duran Duran concert are: Choose Your Cam, which allows viewers to switch between the main stream and alternate angles; the "Now Pulse" Crowd Visualizer, which monitors real-time online chatter until a particular crescendo that unlocks special content; "All of Us Now," which lets fans upload photos of body parts that will be used for live and online collages; an opportunity to tweet questions to the band at #amexduranduran; and an online pre-show with a band interview also directed by Lynch."

The concert will stream at Duran Duran's Vevo channel, where you can also watch all their videos, starting March 23rd at 10 PM and will remain there for a month. I'm excited. I was disappointed to find out they don't have a scheduled date in NYC on this tour, so at least now I'll get to see them live. YAY!! Here's is their new song All You Need is Now from the album of the same name, now available on iTunes and in stores March 22nd. Enjoy the boys!
