Diane von Furstenberg hosts the announcement of the CFDA Fashion Award nominees and honorees at her FABULOUS studio in the Meat Packing District here in NYC. Among the honorees are Lady Gaga, who is receiving the Fashion Icon Awards. YAY!!! My own little Carrie Bradshaw, Christine, sent me some great info straight from inside the fashion world. Per the Council of Fashion Designers of America:"CFDA announced the nominees and honorees for the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards at an exclusive event hosted by Nadja Swarovski and CFDA President Diane von Furstenberg at the designer's studio in the Meatpacking District. March 16th, 2011. Awards will be held on June 6th, 2011 and will be generously underwritten by Swarovski."
