HAPPY BIRTHDAY: DEAD OR ALIVE'S PETE BURNS STILL LIKE A RECORD...

...but in plastic surgery hell. Pete is turning 52 today, and despite his bizarre appearance, his voice is still as strong as ever. Back in 1984 Dead or Alive released their giant hit You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) and it hasn't gone away since. The song is definitely one of the biggest, most recognizable hits of that decade; however, Pete has become unrecognizable. His appearance was always a bit of a shock, but since Dead or Alive hit the States after Boy George and Culture Club, his androgyny was a little out of this world. Maybe he is super-happy with most of what he's done to his face (although he has gone public with his dissatisfaction with his lips), so who am I to judge. Dead or Alive did have a few more hits on the charts, including other classics like Come Home With Me Baby, Brand New Lover (my personal fave) and Lover Come Back to Me, but the band's signature hit is still You Spin Me Round. The song hit the UK charts again in 1996, 2003 AND 2006. Hey, why fight it? LADY GAGA DENIES PLASTIC SURGERY REPORTS

Lady Gaga is not going under the knife anytime soon. Tabloids have been reporting that Gaga was depressed about her image and was contemplating a full plastic surgery overhaul to change her looks. She was allegedly considering a nose job and breast implants. A spokesperson for Lady Gaga is putting the kibosh on those reports saying, "this is ridiculous and untrue." I hope so. I love that Gaga isn't a cookie-cutter pop star. It proves even further that she has got real talent.... not to mention a rockin' body! Don't change a thing, Gaga!!! [source]

DEMI MOORE TO PLAY MILEY CYRUS' MOM IN A NEW FILM, TALKS ABOUT OBSESSION WITH BODY

You've come a long way, Demi. A long way from where I want you to be. The gorgeous 47 year old "puma" is set to star in a new new flick called LOL based on a french movie. She will play the mom of a 15 year old, played by Miley Cyrus, who is dealing with her first big heartbreak and her divorced mother. Demi confirmed the casting news on twitter saying, "Starting a film in July with Miley called LOL". In other Demi news, the star takes the cover of British Elle looking sexier than ever and talking about her past obsession with her body. "I had an extreme obsession with my body. I made it a measure of my own value. I tried to dominate it, which I did, and I changed it multiple times over. But it never lasted and ultimately it didn't bring me anything but temporary happiness. Does being thin resolve anything? No. The irony is that when I abandoned that desire to dominate my body, it actually became the body that I always wanted. But it only happened when I stopped trying to control it. At the end of the day, this kind of obsession is pointless and meaningless." Okay. Sounds pretty honest. She DOES deny having gone under the knife for a little help though. "... You know what? Maybe one day I'll go under the knife. KRISTIN CHENOWETH IS GLEEFUL ABOUT HER BOTOX

Wicked star and frequent Glee cast member Kristin Chenoweth is using that old "migraines" excuse to defend her use of the botox. Kristin is 41, so it's not that unusual that she would be using the face poison to keep it smooth. Kristin tries to explain, "The thing is I suffer from migraines. Flashing lights. It's not good for me so I get three shots right there," and she points to her forehead. "I was very nervous about it because I'm an actor and I have to move my face. But without it, I would not be able to sing or perform." Oh, I think that's why Nicole Kidman does it too. NOT!!! No, I guess Kristin is probably telling the truth, but I wouldn't blame her if she wanted to get botox for the good ol' Hollywood reasons, would you? [source]

HEIDI MONTAG IS LOOKING FOR A NEW PLASTIC SURGEON

Oh, Lord of the rings!!! When will this be over. Heidi Montag, or as I like to call her Heidi You-Can't-Polish-A-Turd Montag, is ready for more plastic surgery to her face and body. Wonder if she has considered a personality or talent augmentation? Probably not. Anyhoosers, Montag apparently wants to enlarge her already gross size F breasts to an H, for "Heidi" she told pals. Wonder how long it took her to figure THAT out. She's had work done on her nose, chin, ears, eyebrows, cheeks and breasts. But Horsey Montag will have to go somewhere else for any more upgrades. Her doctor, Frank Ryan, says he is done cutting up the reality "star". He says, "With me, she won't go bigger. Another doctor may do it, but I won't." Guess he doesn't want to be known as the guy who butchered Heidi Montag. I would love that title, but for a different reason. [source][image]
