'SCREAM QUEENS' TRAILER LOOKS VERY RYAN MURPHY-ISH

I mean, I'm still going to give this a try. Emma Roberts seems to be playing the same exact role she played on American Horror Story: Coven (which is the only thing she's ever been good in, so....great?) and at least there's no singing....yet.....but there is something very familiar about this trailer for the upcoming Ryan Murphy show Scream Queens. It's like "I Know What You Screamed On Sorority Row Last Halloween". You know? Yeah, you do. Still, Jamie Lee Curtis looks like a tough-ass bitch in it and Lea Michele is wearing a fucking neck brace, so there are two things I want to see. By the way, I'm just going to go ahead and call it right now: I think Lea Michele is the killer. Why on earth would she lower herself to a second-ranked cast member when we know Ryan Murphy loves her? She ends up being the central figure. DUH!!!!! She's going to pop that neck brace off in the third episode, slip on a vagina-baring skirt and probably belt out a tune while murdering some ho. There. I said it. Anyhoozers, here is the first full trailer to Scream Queens, coming in September.

LADY GAGA TO STAR IN SEASON 5 OF AMERICAN HORROR STORY: WATCH THE TEASER

Creator Ryan Murphy and FX have announced that Lady Gaga, Mother Monster herself, will be starring in Season 5 of American Horror Story. There is no world yet on what Gaga will be playing, but it seems like the fit is a no-brainer, right? Gaga is no stranger to acting having already appeared in Machete Kills, Sin City 2 and Men in Black 3. Here is hoping for a better season of AHS. I think it's a safe assumption that there will be singing. AMIRIGHT, LADIES?

LEA MICHELE CONFIRMS FUNNY GIRL REVIVAL

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS! I mean, c'mon. We all saw this coming right? Her character, Rachel Barry on GLEE, is currently mounting a production of Funny Girl on the show, so if anyone had any brains they'd get a Lea production working on Broadway. Who is that person with the brain? DUH! According to Lea they are in the planning stages following GLEE's creator Ryan Murphy buying the rights. Of course he is doing it. Lea as Fanny is a no-brainer anyway. She can sing like there's no tomorrow, she's funny, she's Jewish, she's charismatic. She's an American beauty rose with an American beauty nose. You see where I'm going with this. The girl's got moxy, just like Babs did DOES. Don't kill me, Barbra!! Of course, right now Lea is finishing up the current season of GLEE and promoting her new album Louder (review to come), which is available on iTunes and currently playing on repeat in my ear holes. It's good, y'all. Get it HERE, watch GLEE Tuesdays on Fox and read the Broadway World interview with Lea here. LEA!!!

"GLEE" SEASON 2 SPOILERS

Read only if you don't mind learning a little somethin'-somethin'. Ryan Murphy, brills creator of Glee, has let his lips loose about some juicy deets that he has in store for season 2 of the smash hit series that just received 19 Emmy nods. Among the "secrets" revealed are: Rachel and Finn will stay together; Kristen Chenoweth will be back "definitely"(yay!); Javier Bardem will be guest starring (yum); and MORE BRITTANY!!!!! (amazy) Brittany, played by Heather Morris, will get her first solo song in season 2 during the Britney Spears episode that has been planned. I LOVE the Brittany character, so this is soops exciting news for me. Nationals will be a part of the season 2 line-up, but Murphy says that doesn't necessarily mean that New Directions will be there. The show returns September 21. Stay tuned!!! [source]

GLEE CREATOR WEIGHS IN ON HOMOPHOBIC NEWSWEEK ARTICLE. CALLS FOR BOYCOTT

Ryan Murphy, the creator of Glee, has joined in with Kristin Chenoweth, Cheyenne Jackson and many others in expressing his outrage over the recent Newsweek article by Ramin Setoodeh, a gay man, saying that gay actors should basically stick to playing gay characters. Ryan is not kidding around, calling for a boycott on Newsweek until they issue an apology to Sean Hayes, the main actor singled out in the article. Ryan sent a letter to several news agencies saying:
"I would like to join my good friend Kristin Chenoweth on her condemnation of a recent Newsweek article written by Mr. Ramin Setoodeh, in which Setoodeh basically says that out gay actors should go back into the closet and never attempt to play straight characters. This article is as misguided as it is shocking and hurtful. It shocks me because Mr. Setoodeh is himself gay. But what is the most shocking of all is that Newsweek went ahead and published such a blatantly homophobic article in the first place...and has remained silent in the face of ongoing (and justified) criticism. I have asked GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) president Jarrett Barrios to stand with me and others and ask for an immediate boycott of Newsweek magazine until an apology is issued to Sean Hayes and other brave out actors who were cruelly singled out."
I for one will not be buying Newsweek any longer unless Setoodeh is no longer writing for them and/or they issue a public apology for such blatant homophobia. What a bunch of idiots!
