Damn! I guess the drama on the set of Desperate Housewives wasn't just when the cameras were rolling afterall. Nicollette Sheridan, who played Edie on the show, is suing former boss and DH creator Marc Cherry on charges of assault and battery, gender violence, wrongful termination, and “intentional infliction of emotional distress" according to TMZ.com. Basically Nicollette says Marc was a reall a-hole to the cast and crew of the show creating a hostile work environment and treated her in a “dismissive, demeaning, and unprofessional manner” on and off set. Sheridan even claims that after she questioned him about something on set Cherry took her to the side and “forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head.” Wow! What did she question him on: why the hell is Eva Longoria on network television? If so, she's got a valid question. Anyway, Nicollette allegedly reported the attack to ABC and they did nothing. Well, except eventually fire her. ABC studios released a statement saying, "While we have yet to see the actual complaint, we investigated similar claims made by Ms. Sheridan last year and found them to be without merit." SNAP! Looks like we got a bitch fight on our hands! [source]

JULIE BENZ OF DEXTER TO JOIN DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES
After Dexter's wife Rita, played by Julie Benz, was -- SPOILER ALERT -- killed off, laying in bathtub full of blood, I was devastated!! I literally couldn't speak for a few minutes after the season finale of Dexter! Luckily that high profile role has helped Julie land another juicy part. Benz will be joining the cast of Desperate Housewives as Debbie, a former stripper trying to leave the adult entertainment industry. She is scheduled for three episodes according to EW.com. Hopefully it will turn into something more substantial for Benz, who I have loved since I saw her in Jawbreakers. [source][image]
