COUGAR TOWN MAY MOVE TO TBS

This is amazing news!!! In danger of being cancelled by ABC, my beloved Cougar Town and even more beloved Courteney Cox may be moving the Culdasac Crew to TBS! According to a TBS spokesperson, "Should the show become available, TEN (Turner Entertainment Netwroks)looks at all opportunities presented to us that fit our brand." That would be awesome. While the ratings for ABC are not stellar, the rating for most other networks (Hello, NBC) would be good, so it's a smart move to move it to another network. The shows fans (i.e. Me) are loyal and love the show and would hate to lose it. Plus, the world can NEVER have enough Courteney Cox, IMHO. So it looks like, whatever happens, our Cougar Town gang will be safe. Keep your fingers crossed!!!

I am and always have been obsessed with Courtney Cox. I think she is cool, funny, sexy and beautiful. Cougar Town is one of the most underrated shows on television too!! It's freakin' funny, y'all!! Anyway, Courtney is featured in the pages of Bazaar magazine this month talking about her marriage, dating and defending David Arquette. She's a classy lady, I tell ya. COURTNEY COX HAS NO NEED FOR A BODY DOUBLE, THANK YOU

Courtney Cox is a true cougar in every sense of the word. She's over 40, she's got a younger man, and she is quick on her feet. So when she was offered a body double on the set of Cougar Town she was like "um, no" saying that the public needed to see "real women" over 40 show some skin. Now I wouldn't necessarily put Courtney in the category of your average over-40 woman, but I agree she should use her own body for the show. I mean, it's a show called Cougar Town for goodness sake! She admits not everyone expected her to show so much skin on tv this time around. "I think it was an important thing to do. This show talks about real things and real experiences, so I think I had to. I know my friend Jennifer Aniston was shocked I did it. Some people may not want to show parts of them that are not the very best and that's alright. I decided to show, and I don't care. It was important to show the real side of being 40." She doesn't have any bad parts!! Oh, by the way, you dropped a name there, Courtney. Let me pick it up for ya. She continued on about how she stays in shape: "I try really hard. I walk, I run, I do elliptical (cross-trainer), I do band work, weights and dance aerobics. I play tennis and I eat really well. But I was also lit very well. Don't mistake Hollywood lighting for reality!" Ha. We won't Courtney, but you are still a grade-A babe! Not every woman or man over 40 would be willing to show as much as you do, so bless ya! ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY PICKS SPRING'S TEN BEST TV SHOWS

EW has put together their list of the ten best shows coming on tv this Spring. An intersting mix of drama, comedy and sci-fi, some are big in the ratings, some are not. Which ones are you watching?
10. Caprica (SyFy, Fridays 9-10PM) The Battlestar Galactica prequel is on the rise in rating AND buzz. I haven't seen it yet, but it seems everyone else is getting hooked.
9. Damages (FX, Mondays 10-11PM) With Glenn Close as a brittle beyotch how can you go wrong. Damages is a full-fledged hit for FX. Keep 'em coming.
8. Southland (TNT, Tuesdays 10-11PM) The show was dropped by NBC before it even had a chance to grow, but TNT has snatched up the excellent crime drama and given it new life. If you didn't get a chance to see it when it aired the first time, check it out. It's pretty dang good.
7. Glee (Fox, Returning April 13th, 9-10PM) DUH!!! Glee is amazy! Singing, dancing, choir geeks, jocks, nerds, horny teachers. AND Molly Shannon is going to be on! YEA!!!
6. Modern Family (ABC, Wednesdays 9-9:30PM) Quite possibly the funniest show on television, Modern Family is addictive in it's quirky, sweet humor. The family is crazy with just enough realness to keep you hooked. I LOVE the gay dads!! Watch it!!
5. Fringe (Fox, Returns April 1, 9-10PM) The sci-fi thriller is like an updated X-Files, which is a great thing. Excellent actors and interesting story lines, the show has it going on, yo!
4. Friday Night Lights (NBC, Premieres April 30, 8-9PM) The show has been moved around so many times that it's been hard to gain a significant audience, but let's hope it is settled now. I don't watch this show either, but everyone I know who does is a die-hard fan. Maybe it's time to give it a try.
3. Lost (ABC, Tuesdays 9-10PM) The show is in it's final season so everyone is peeing themselves to see how things turn out. I'm not one of "everyone" btw.
2. Breaking Bad (AMC, Premieres March 21, 10-11PM) Bryan Cranston has won two Emmys for his work on the AMC hit about a former highshool chemistry teacher who decides after being diagnosed with cancer to sell meth to make money for his family's future. THAT is interesting!! Great performances and stellar writing make this a show people should be watching.
1. The Good Wife (CBS, Tuesdays, 10-11PM) This show is good!! Julianna Marguiles is a welcome sight back on television as the wife of a recently disgraced state attorney who goes back to her job as a junior litigator while her husband is in jail. Both a crime drama and a family drama, this show has it all. It's really a must-see.

Of course, some of MY faves did not make the list including, but not limited to: Cougar Town, The Middle, RuPaul's Drag Race, Family Guy, Ugly Betty, and the moving, motivational drama America's Next Top Model. What are you gonna do about it? HUH? Watch, that's what!

AMAZING WEDNESDAY NIGHT TELEVISION

Seriously, not since the days of "Must See TV" has there been a more enjoyable lineup of shows on television. In The Middle, Modern Family and Cougar Town are lined up for your pleasure on Wednesday nights and I have to say, they are pefectly alligned. Each one gets a little more "adult" as the night goes on starting off with one of the funniest family comedies I can remember, In The Middle. A calm dad, frustrated mom, and three eccentric kids. Patricia Heaton is so good in this show I almost forget she is a crazy Republican. Modern Family is so hilarious I catch myself laughing outloud all the time. That doesn't happen that often with tv shows anymore. They also have the funniest gay couple ever written for television (not that there is a big contest going on there). Cougar Town (paired with my obsession with Courtney Cox) is my fave show on television right now. I adore every character. It's like masterbation for laughing. Too much? Fine. It's true though. After watching this night of television, I'm spent. Watch it. Don't be a loser. Starts Wednesdays at 8:30 MY time, which is the only time that counts.

SHERYL CROW JOINS COUGAR TOWN

Another singer is making a stab at acting. Sheryl Crow, a good friend of Courtney Cox, will guest star on Cougar Town as the new love interest of Courtney's character's ex-husband. No word yet on how many episodes Crow will appear in, but I'm sure they'll write her some good stuff. She is a sexy minx in her 40s, so she'll fit in just fine too. BEVERLY D'ANGELO (MRS. GRIZWALD) JOINING THE CAST OF COUGAR TOWN

Vacation star Beverly D'Angelo will be joining the cast of Cougar Town as a guest star in an upcoming episode as the mother of loud-mouthed, slutty, hilarious Laurie, played by Busy Phillips. The recently renewed sitcom will air it's Bev episode sometime in February. This is great casting!! Beverly and Busy even look a bit alike, no? It's gonna be a sassy night in Cougar Town. ABC RENEWS MODERN FAMILY, COUGAR TOWN AND IN THE MIDDLE

ABC knows a good thing when they see it. Three of my fave shows Modern Family, Cougar Town (I'm obsessed with Courtney Cox) and In The Middle (which I just go into watching and love) have all been renewed for a second season. Not that surprising as they are all doing well and got a lot of hype this season. All the shows were launched as a block on Wednesday nights along with the now-cancelled Kelsey Grammer "comedy" Hank. Ugly Betty was recently added back to the Wednesday night schedule to anchor the evening. Hopefully it will give that show new life. All four shows are excellently written and acted. Yea, ABC! I forgive you for trying to kill Betty last year. Don't do it again!!![source][image]

COUGAR TOWN STILL A WINNER IN THE RATINGS!

Cougar Town, my fave new comedy, starring the sexy/funny Courtney Cox-Arquette is still a winner in the ratings. The combination of Modern Family (which I haven't seen but is supposed to be funny) at 9 PM and Cougar Town at 9:30 finished first in the ratings for the 9-10 PM slot again this week. YEAH!! I really like the tone of the show and Ms. Cox-Arquette (ha. I said cox) is so cute in it!! She's cougarific! Anyhoooses, if you haven't seen the show, see it or you are a sexist pig.

COUGAR TOWN TOMORROW!!!

Word on the street is that Cougar Town is going to be the best comedy EVER (if you happen to live on my street). But seriously, the show is getting great reviews and I am soooo looking forward to it. I love Courtney and she is looking bangin', so I hope the show goes well. As far as Friends alum go, I am sure this will be better than Joey. I mean, she could take a crap on screen and it would be better than Joey, so..... Okay. Tune in or you will feel left out and suicidal on Thursday. Seriously, I will judge you and it won't be pretty.
