NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK AND BACKSTREET BOYS' SINGLE IS HERE

Don't Turn Out the Lights is the new joint single by tour-mates New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys, and I gotta say, it ain't bad at all. It's a sweet little song that reminds me of the best of the boy bands' music. It kinda rocks along like a summer jam that you would listen to while drunk driving with the windows of the car down or getting blackout drunk on a beach with strangers. Is that just me? Oh. BACKSTREET BOYS WORRY ABOUT LADY GAGA

Well, I don't know if the Backstreet Boys are who I would want to take advice from on career longevity, but their hearts are in the right place. It seems the Boys have gotten wind that Gaga is spending extravagantly on her tour and they wanted to warn her to save up some money and avoid the mistakes they made when they became famous. Brian Litrell of the band says, "Our production manager was talking to her production manager and we found out that she had, like, three 747s flying around with her. I just wanted to tell her that she needs to make, like, a dime or maybe 20 cents after the tour is over with - because when you overbudget yourself, you get home and you're like, 'Yeah, the tour was great, but I'm broke!'" Oh, well as long as it's firsthand info. NOT! Lady Gaga has admitted that most of her money goes right back into her videos and tours, but I am sure she is making enough to stay pretty comfortable.
