It seems like only yesterday that the bright-eyed former Mouseketeer threw on a slutty schoolgirl's uniform and started shakin' her parent's moneymaker for our viewing pleasure. Baby One More Time was the debut single from Britney and it hit the top of the Hot 100 on January 30, 1999 and stayed there for two weeks. The song went on to hit #1 in EVERY country it charted in. Wow! Not bad. It also is one of the best selling singles of all time with over 10 million copies sold. The music video, of course, is a classic. Directed by Nigel Dick, Britney famously dons the schoolgirl outfit and jiggles her teenage jugs all over the halls of a high school in a daydream. Britney was nominated for a Grammy that year for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance but she lost to that hack Sarah McLachlan. Haha. Anyway, there is zero doubt that Baby One More Time is a classic 90s pop song and still Brit's signature tune, even after all these years.
