Well someone's gotta push him. Bill Maher is a comedian. I know that. But it doesn't mean he ain't dead-on right about this. Not only does he point out that a Cheney, a McCain and a Bush have all come out in support of gay marriage and that a recent pol shows 53 percent of Americans support gay marriage (and that 47 percent are still assholes), he also makes about 1,000 other valid points about everything from why Republicans are better at forcing their ideas on people and how gays are the same as straights.
