RuPAUL CROWNS A QUEEN. TOP 3 RELEASE MUSIC VIDEOS

SPOILER ALERT: And we have a winner!!! RuPaul crowned the winner of Season 7 of RuPaul's Drag Race last night and it was exactly who I thought it should be!!! Violet Chachki took the crown over fellow competitors Ginger Minj and Pearl. As the evening unfolded it was pretty obvious to me who the crowd was behind and who was standing out in the crowd. The lip sync numbers with songs written specifically for the girls showed exactly why Violet was the one to beat. Ginger's number should have been a barn burner, but it fell as flat as a pancake and Pearl, while more entertaining altogether, was -- you guessed it -- flazéda. Violet not only nailed her lip sync but performed the shit out of the number, looked AMAZING and exuded complete confidence. While I will say this season was not as thrilling as past seasons, Violet is a solid queen who earned her crown. NOW, to the surprise of no one, all top three queens released new videos last night. Ginger has gone with a poppy (supposedly) funny song Ooh Lala Lala that fits her feisty personality. I'm not sure where Pearl's voice is in her song Love Slave (I'm guessing it's the muttering in the background) but she looks amazing and makes out with Detox. And is that her own boy-butt she is spanking in the video? I think it is. Violet, on the other hand, makes quite a statement with her naughty video and song Bettie, a tribute of sorts to pinup legend Bettie Page. She wins this competition too. Violet's EP Gagged comes out June 30th and is available for pre-order on iTunes now! So what do you think? Did the right queen win? RuPAUL'S VIDEO FOR 'BORN NAKED' AND MY PREDICTION FOR THE WINNER

As per yoosh, RuPaul and the top three queens of the season have made a video for their final challenge. The results are often mixed. Last year featured, IMO, the best video ever produced form the RuPaul and the queens, Sissy That Walk. It's hard to top that, girl. This year Ru picked a remix of the title track to last year's album Born Naked (but the remix from this year's album Realness) and let finalists Pearl, Ginger Minj and Violet Chachki lip sync for their lives all over that shit. While not a one of them have the presence of Bianca Del Rio or Adore Delano from Season 6 (even Darian for that matter), the placement of the queens in the video leads me to believe that Pearl will take the crown for Season 7. Much like the clip for Sissy That Walk in which Bianca seems to appear more and usually last when they show all three queens, I'm feeling that Pearl is our girl. HEY, THAT RHYMES! More proof? Probably not. The video is not nearly as slick or alluring as Sissy, but I see what Ru was going for with the cable access realness effects and low budget extravaganza. I could be wrong about Pearl, but I have a feeling in most of my original bones. Tune in to the finale of RuPaul's Drag Race June 1st to find out who takes the crown...OFFICIALLY!

RuPAUL'S DRAG RACE: A COUPLE OF QUEENS SHOW THEIR TRUE COLORS

SPOILER ALERTS AHEAD: IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED LAST NIGHT'S EPISODE, PLEASE DO NOT READ!!!! So called "professionals" Ginger Minj and Kennedy Davenport, along with fellow contestants Violet Chachki and Pearl, were asked the age old question of why they should be America's Next Drag Superstar over the other contestants. Instead of mostly keeping it about themselves -- maybe because Kennedy couldn't think of very many ANY reasons -- these two older, supposedly more mature queens decided it was easier to throw shade and try to throw the two younger competitors under the bus. The things they were saying were unfounded for the most part and just plain nasty. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Violet and Pearl are perfect queens, by any means, but they both answered to question in a way they lifted themselves up without putting down their fellow competitors. Watching the episode of Untucked today really drove the point home. Ginger and Kennedy started kissing ass so hard when they got backstage that I thought they were going to suck Pearl and Violet's tucks out. Ginger finally admitted she was nasty on stage, but of course Kennedy -- who used the word CONDONE instead of CONDUCT incorrectly not once but twice during her nasty on-stage tirade "I condone myself in a way..." UGH! -- didn't have any good answers for her behavior so she just got all twisted and blew up. THAT'S mature. And she accused Violet of having a quick temper. Girl, bye. Meanwhile, Pearl and Violet found out exactly what they suspected: Ginger and Kennedy will do and say anything to win. I am pretty sure Kennedy's ignorant speech and nasty attitude are what sent her packing because she clearly nailed the video challenge. Her acting challenge was pretty fucking awful though, as usual. So now it comes down to Violet, Ginger and Pearl. I would be very happy to see Violet win at this point. I used to be Team Ginger, but her true personality really ruined her on each episode of Untucked. Pearl isn't quite the type of queen to rep a brand, in my opinion, but she is something special. Of course, Katya should still be there, but Kennedy ruins everything so she's not. You can watch Untucked below and see Ginger and Kennedy implode. NEW MUSIC: RuPAUL'S DRAG RACE CONTESTANT, MISS FAME - RUBBER DOLL

SPOILER ALERT!! Her time on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 7 may finally be over, but Miss Fame ain't going nowhere, hunty. Here is the new single from the "Full Latex Fantasy Fetish Fashionista" herself, Rubber Doll. Poppy, dancy and fierce, the girl should have worked it out like this on the show!!! I must say that I am pretty impressed that Fame pulled this off. She was a little underwhelming when it came to any kind of acting/singing/dancing challenge on the show, so good on her. Don't open the library too quickly, Miss Fame has a thing or two to prove.

NEW ADORE DELANO: JUMP THE GUN. ADORE AND COURTNEY ACT KAI KAI

RuPaul's Drag Race season 6 runner-up Adore Delano has already broken the top 100 albums with her debut, Till Death Do Us Party, even hitting #1 on the Dance Album chart, and now her 7th single from the album, Jump The Gun, has its official video. The sexy, hard dance track is a standout on the album, so it makes sense for it to have a standout video. Adore looks amazing and, showing up in the pool with her is fellow Drag Race alum Courtney Act. The two have a little kai kai in the pool and it's hot!! Enjoy Adore Delano's Jump The Gun.

ALASKA THUNDERF**K FINALLY BRINGS US THE VIDEO FOR 'NAILS'

YAAAAAAAAAAAAS!! I have been waiting a good year for an official release of Alaska Thunderfuck's amazing single Nails!!! The runner-up queen from Season 5 of RuPaul's Drag Race is back and serving a fierce, alien-themed video for Nails and is tearing the house DOWN, y'all!!! I love this bitch. Alaska was also recently voted the 2nd favorite queen of all time from RuPaul's Drag Race. Eat that, hunties. NEW VIDEO: SHARON NEEDLES - I WISH I WERE AMANDA LEPORE (FT. AMANDA LEPORE)

Sharon Needles' album PG-13 just might be the Thriller of all drag-queen albums!! The album was released in January 2013 and is now on its fifth single!! I Wish I Were Amanda Lepore is about exactly  what it sounds like, the self-proclaimed "number one transexual on the planet, DAMN IT!", Ms. Amanda Lepore. RuPaul's Drag Race album Sharon has shown love for Amanda many times in interviews and performances, so it makes sense that her obsession would result in a glamorous, wacky video starring the David LaChapelle muse in which Needles visits the doctor to transform into her idol. Here is the excellent new video for Needles' collaboration with Lepore, I Wish I Were Amanda Lepore. Enjoy!

ADORE DELANO BREAKS DRAG RACE CHART RECORDS WITH TILL DEATH DO US PARTY

Adore Delano is not just your average drag queen, girl. She is a pop star too!! Adore's debut album, Till Death Do Us Party, has set a record for RuPaul's Drag Race alum by debuting at #59 on the Billboard 200 album chat, the highest of any Drag Race contestant, and sets a RDR sales record by moving 5,000 copies in it's first week. PARTY!! Adore also debuted at #3 on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart. What an amazing accomplishment!! Adore is an actual singer. As her real-life counterpart Danny Noriega she was in the Top 16 contestants of American Idol in 2008. Of course, other Drag Race contestants have hit the charts (see below), but I think Adore's success shows how much of an impact RuPaul's Drag Race is having on mainstream culture. Here are a list of other Drag Race contestants who have hit one of the Billboard charts since the show's debut. Of course, Ru has had her share of hits on the charts as well, but no one compares to Mama Ru. Don't get it twisted.

RuPaul's Drag Race has had some outspoken, sassy queens through the years, so it's no surprise that they be all up on twitter talking about Trannygate. In particular, I find Sonique's interesting. She is a transgender woman that was a contestant on the show and who is supporting RuPaul. JUST BECAUSE: RuPAUL IS LEGENDARY

RuPaul is under attack, y'all. Ru and his amazing show, RuPaul's Drag Race, have recently been criticized by people from our own LGBT community for using supposed transphobic terminology. The words in question are "tranny" and "she-male". To be more precise, "she-MAIL" is used in a weekly segment that tells the queens what their challenge is going to be for the week. Anyone who doesn't see that this is a play on the word "e-mail" for use on a show about drag queens is a complete moron. I mean it. You need to lighten the fuck up, girl!!!!  This is funny. Do you not think that drag queens get called "she-male" all the time? The other use of the word came in a segment called "Female or She-Male". While this could have been a little off-putting to some, the term was once again assigned to drag performers, not transgender women. The game required contestants to identify whether close up shots of body parts belonged to a female celebrity or a drag queen. I would say that is pretty harmless, and if anything, shows that drag queens don't mind one bit being identified as or with transgender women. Anyone who thinks that RuPaul is transphobic or doesn't support EVERYONE in the LGBT community obviously has not done their homework. Ru has been a positive force and a prominent face for ALL of us and we should thank her for her hard work and generosity. Once we start attacking our allies and those in our own community, we weaken ourselves. Do we think we have enough power now that we can turn on one another? We are not. The last thing we need is to start tearing one another apart when we know damn good and well that we support all our LGBT brothers and sisters. How about writing your politicians who still think we are less than? Are you as vigorously challenging them as you are RuPaul? Doubtful. Ru is our friend, brother, sister and mother. Now everybody say "LOVE".

NEW RUPAUL VIDEO: SISSY THAT WALK

GURL!!!! Mamma Ru is serving it UP on her new track Sissy That Walk, with a little help from the top 4 of Season 6 of RuPaul's Drag Race. Sissy That Walk is the second video released from her new album Born Naked, which is her highest charting album EVER on the Billboard 200 album chart (#85) and her first album to chart since her 1993 debut, Supermodel of the World (#109). As she says in the song, "My pu**y is on fire, now kiss the flame" INDEED! By the way, is it impossible to talk about Ru without slipping into your drag voice? Is it just me?
