I give you my top 10 favorite Beatles songs. Now, full disclosure, I am not what you would call a SUPER fan. I am a fan. I love the music of The Beatles and always have, but I do not know all the deep cuts, so excuse my elementary picks on this list. They may be a little obvious for the more fanatical of fans. Do not mistake my lack of knowledge for a lack of love, cuz I freakin' love their brilliance and influence they have had on countless artists since their debut. MADONNA FRIDAY: BORDERLINE

"Something in the way you love me won't let me be....." Madonna could have been saying this to me, dancing around my bedroom with a rag tied on my head, singing along to Borderline. Back in early 1984, Madge was still shiny and new and Borderline was on it's way to becoming her first Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Considered by most to be a Madonna AND an 80s classic, Borderline was fun, sexy, flirty and girlish and let Madonna make her first real mark on the music video world and MTV with it's bright, battle of the sexes, girl-from-the-wrong-side-of-the-tracks-makes-good concept. She danced, she sang, she modeled, she spray painted a car and pissed off some guy that looks a lot like Paul McCartney (but isn't). Madonna had an unprecedented string of top 10 hits following this song, but Borderline is one of a kind. You never forget your first. Enjoy the video and don't let it push you "over the bordeline". BILLBOARD RANKS MICHAEL JACKSON'S MOST SUCCESSFUL SONGS

...and #1 might be a surprise....to some. MJ's most successful singles were ranked by Billboard magazine, and to ensure fairness eras were weighted since the Hot 100 has been determined differently over time. This list included solo, duet and tracks form the Jackson 5. Coming out on top is Michael's duet with Paul McCartney from late 1983 Say, Say, Say. The song spent six weeks on top of the Hot 100 starting in December 1983. Now, I remember this song very well and it was a HUGE success. The song and video, in which LaToya Jackson plays Michael's love interest for some reason (CREEPY), were everywhere. The rest of the top 10 are a tour de force of hits by MJ and the Jackson 5 and another duet with McCartney. Here it is:

BEYONCE AND A BEATLE STAR IN BACK-TO-BACK SPECIALS ON ABC

Let it B!! Beyonce and Paul McCartney will both star in back-to-back one-hour specials on ABC on Thanksgiving night. First B will show her concert that was filmed over the summer in Las Vegas, proving that what happens there doesn't stay there. I can't wait to see it. Then immediately after, the Mac will air footage from his concert at Citi Field along with original footage from the 1965 Beatles show that took place at Shea Stadium, right next to Citi Field.
