JON STEWART MAKES AN ASS OUT OF JOHN MCCAIN AGAIN

Duh!! Stewart takes McCain to task ONCE AGAIN on Don't Ask Don't Tell. On The Daily Show he shows clips of how much McCain has lied and how he has erased everything good he has ever done and will be seen in the future as the moronic villain of this whole situation. Everything this "man" stated that needed to be done for him to support a repeal of DADT has been done, and yet he still refuses to keep his word and support the repeal of this ridiculous, bigoted law. John McCain, you are a liar. For a "war hero" you sure don't seem to care about or have any respect for the military or soldiers serving our country. Listen to your daughter, old man. You are out of touch and need to hang it up before you become the laughing stock of US politics. Your lucky you aren't already after the whole Sarah Palin debacle. Go away.

JOINT CHEIF CHAIR MICHAEL MULLEN IN FAVOR OF REPEALING DON'T ASK DON'T TELL

Admiral Michael Mullen gave a statement at the beginning of the hearing taking place in Washington right now on the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy in the military. His statements are well thought out and also in favor of a repeal, stating that the military shouldn't ask it's men and women that are there to protect and fight for the dignity and honor of our country to lie about who they are. "Allowing gays and lesbians to serve openly would be the right thing to do," is just part of the statement given by Mullen. John McCain rose in stern opposition to this statement, reiterating his stance he gave recently that the policy is working and this is the wrong time to change the policy. HOWEVER Americblog found a statement and video of McCain stating something quite different in October 2006. McCain said, "And I understand the opposition to it, and I‘ve had these debates and discussions, but the day that the leadership of the military comes to me and says, Senator, we ought to change the policy, then I think we ought to consider seriously changing it because those leaders in the military are the ones we give the responsibility to." SURPRISE! McCAIN DISAGREES WITH OBAMA. MAKES NO SENSE.

Obama sort of said he wanted Don't Ask Don't Tell repealed last night during his State of the Union Address last night. He stated it, but with no timeline or plan of action. Anyway, of course now John McCain must think of an excuse to disagree with him. Problem is, it doesn't make any sense. "In his State of the Union address, President Obama asked Congress to repeal the 'don't ask, don't tell' policy. I am immensely proud of, and thankful for, every American who wears the uniform of our country, especially at a time of war, and I believe it would be a mistake to repeal the policy." THIS IS EXACTLY THE TIME TO REPEAL!! It's the only way to show the troops the we support ALL of them who are fighting for our country. He went on, "This successful policy has been in effect for over fifteen years, and it is well understood and predominantly supported by our military at all levels. We have the best trained, best equipped, and most professional force in the history of our country, and the men and women in uniform are performing heroically in two wars. At a time when our Armed Forces are fighting and sacrificing on the battlefield, now is not the time to abandon the policy." Now is the time and this argument is just plain stupid. If you really respect the armed forces, then bring them into this century and allow the gay men and women to fight for out country openly and proudly. SENATOR JOHN McCAIN STILL OPPOSED TO GAY MARRIAGE

Even though his wife Cindy and daughter Meghan have both posed for the NOH8 campaign and voiced their support, John McCain is sticking to his retarded guns. the Washington Post reports: "John McCain's office said in a statement that the Arizona senator respects the views of members of his family but remains opposed to gay marriage. 'Sen. McCain believes the sanctity of marriage is only defined as between one man and one woman." He then asked where he was, grabbed his chest, and peed his pants. His office also, for some reason, thinks it's a good idea for Sarah Palin, aka "the Devil", to come to Arizona and campaign for his re-election there. UGH!!
