It was also her only US #1 song with or without The Go-Go's, believe it or not. Heaven Is a Place On Earth was a worldwide hit, reaching the top spot in several countries, and definitely an 80s pop classic. Belinda had continued success and still makes albums and tours to this day. This song, however, is her signature song and enjoys continued airplay and relevance in today's pop landscape. FUN FACT: The video was one of two directed by Diane Keaton. Yes, Annie Hall directed this video. Ha.
