He could get the rights to Queen's Another One Bites the Dust, so he asked Survivor to write a song for the movie...and, boy, did they! Eye of the Tiger was the perfect song for the boxing film and the perfect fit with the fledgling MTV network. The song spent six weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in the summer of 1982 and became an instant classic. The band went on to have four more top 10 hits, but Eye of the Tiger remains their signature song.
